Quality Management Associate (m/f/d)
Purpose of the role
Support of quality and information security management to ensure product, process, and information security quality, compliance with ISO 9001, ISO/IEC 27001, and SCC requirements, as well as continuous improvement of workflows, security standards, and information security processes.
Main tasks
- Execution and documentation of internal audits according to ISO 9001, ISO/IEC 27001, SCC, and EN 1090.
- Collaboration in the maintenance, update, and implementation of the integrated management system (IMS).
- Processing of complaints, non-conformities, and security incidents including root cause analysis, as well as corrective and preventive actions.
- Processing of the continuous improvement process (CIP) in the QM and ISMS
Secondary tasks
- Support with training and awareness measures for employees in quality, occupational safety, and information security
- Collaboration in the preparation of external audits and certifications (IMS).
- Support with data evaluation and analysis of KPIs for quality, process, and information security
- Administrative activities in the QM and ISMS area, e.g., document management via orgavision.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring the correct implementation of legal, normative, and internal requirements throughout the entire organization (IMS).
- Management of system documentation for IMS processes via orgavision.
- Management of the continuous improvement process (CIP) in the IMS
- Documentation and tracking of qualitynon-conformities, corrective actions, and information security
Required qualifications
- Completed technical education (e.g., apprenticeship, master craftsman, technical college) or completed technical degree (e.g., mechanical engineering, civil engineering, industrial engineering).
- Optional: Qualification as an internal auditor(ISO/IEC 17024).
- Knowledge of relevant standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO/IEC 27001, SCC, or EN 1090).
- Proficient IT skills (MS Office, ERP systems, document management systems).
- Very good language skills (German, English).
Required professional experience
- Several years of professional experience (min. 2 years) in steel construction, mechanical engineering, or metal construction.
- Experience in the QM area (document management, process modeling, standards) as well as occupational safety.
- Experience in moderating cross-departmental topics (e.g., nonconformity management and CIP).
- Experience in internal/external audit

- The position is governed by the Austrian Collective Agreement for Salaried Employees in the Metal Industry. We offer a competitive salary above the collective agreement minimum, depending on your qualifications and experience.
The advertised position is subject to the collective bargaining agreement for employees in the metalworking industry.
We are willing to offer a higher salary depending on qualifications and experience.
